Law of Compensation | The 12 Universal Laws of Manifestation

Hello hello my beautiful souls,

Welcome back to the Modern Manifestation blog! Feel free to tune into today's topic in the podcast.

Today we are resuming the summary of each of the 12 universal laws/guidelines (also known as the spiritual laws)!

Before we five into the 6th of the 12 laws, let’s go over the guidelines we’ve covered so far:

  1. Law of Divine Oneness: We are all interconnected

  2. Law of Vibration: Everything has a specific vibrational energy that attracts similar vibrations

  3. Law of Action: Action must be taken in order to manifest

  4. Law of Correspondence : Your external reality is a reflection of your internal feelings

  5. Law of Cause and Effect: Your actions will spark equivalent reactions in your life

Now, let's jump into the sixth of the 12 laws!

The Law of Compensation

The Law of Compensation states that what you do affects what you get. In other words, you get what you give. Your reality is what you think about.

In other words, you will be compensated for everything that you do. All the effort you give, the actions you take, the things you say, how you feel, all of this will determine how you’re being compensated. If you’re continuously making an effort to put good things out into the world, that is what you will get more of.

On the other hand, if you’re focusing on talking bad about coworkers, gossiping, complaining about your in-laws, annoyed about traffic, frustrated with money, or any of the life concerns that people have a habit of complaining about, then the Universe will give you more things to complain about.

The Difference Between the Law of Cause and Effect and Compensation

If you tuned in to the last episode, you’re probably wondering what the difference is between the Law of Cause and Effect and the Law of Compensation because this was my reaction! The way I’ve come to understand the difference between the two is that the Law of Cause and Effect is the action taken to spark change, and the Law of Compensation is the energetic return of those cumulative actions. Said in another way, the Law of Cause and Effect determines our abundance, which is experienced as the Law of Compensation.

Your physical reality is an expression of your past actions and beliefs. To change it, you have to adopt new actions and beliefs. And, we have to be patient. I don’t know if this is the Universe’s way to ensure the change is permanent or if it’s just the way we experience time, but there always seems to be a delay for the big stuff we want.... know this and be patient. <3

Look for signs that you’re on the right path. Examples of this include seeing more positive stories on your news feed and not noticing the negative stories as much, seeing more beauty, finding more good in the world and less bad, becoming more of a half full rather than half empty person.

When it comes to our utilizing this law on a personal level, the type of cause or catalyst you put out into the world will determine the type of experience you get. Negativity will breed negativity, jealousy creates more jealousy, anxiety will create more uncertainty, healthy habits create a healthier life, etc.

Using the Law of Compensation to Help You Manifest

To use this law to help you manifest, be mindful of what you're sending out to the world.

What you do effects what you get. If you don’t like what you’re getting, change what you’re putting out there. The Universe doesn’t judge. It will compensate you fairly and appropriately for what you’ve put out into the world, within a timeline that is appropriate for your highest good.

If you look around yourself and do not have a life that is representative of what you want, take a moment to have an honest reflection. Use journaling as a way to uncover where you're cutting yourself short. If this is triggering to hear, start there. Triggers are often a sign that we have a growth opportunity.

The lens you choose to see the world through will dramatically affect your experience in life; perception matters. Start operating as a secure person and assume the identity of someone who knows that the Universe has their back.

How you operate within the world will determine how you perceive the world. Be a "glass half full" kind of person.

If you believe the world is abundant, you will have more abundance. If you're pessimistic... well, I think you get it ;)

A great quote that reminds me of this law comes from Wayne Dwyer:

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

When your perception changes, so does your reality. It becomes a lot easier to manifest the things you want when you operate in a more positive reality.

Decide to be a morning person. Decide to be a cheerful. Decide to be someone who smiles at every one. Decide to be someone that is lucky. Your decisions matter.

You attract to you, more of what you already are. “You become what you think about most”. You thoughts and behaviors create emotions, and your emotions are your energy in motion. You’re manifesting your identity and your compensated fairly for it.

To utilize the Law of Compensation to your advantage, think about how you can show up differently, better:

Who can you help today? How can you show kindness? Who could you send more love to? What would bring more joy to someone else’s day?

What you put out into the world, you will receive as compensation.

Thank y’all so much for hanging out with me today! Have a fantastic rest of your week, and I will catch y’all next Monday.
